About the Trust
The Tawi Conservancy Trust is a community-driven conservation initiative located in the heart of Kenya’s Southern Rift Valley, near Amboseli National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro.
Established with the goal of preserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable land use, the conservancy spans over 6,000 acres and is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including the iconic African Elephant, Gerenuk and numerous bird species.
Through a collaborative approach with local landowners, conservation organisations, and government agencies, Tawi Conservancy Trust has become a vital sanctuary for both wildlife and local communities.
It stands as a beacon of hope for responsible tourism, habitat restoration, and community empowerment, playing a critical role in the protection of Kenya's natural heritage for future generations.
